Mount Carmel Area High School / Boston College 

Dave was selected out of high school in the 4th round of the 2003 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins, with his last assignment being in 2009 with the Double-A Toronto Blue Jays. He also pitched in the PA American Legion All-Star game in 2001 and 2002. After playing in the MLB, Dave went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. Dave is a great example of what it means to be an All-Star!

Robb is a graduate of St. Mark’s High School where he was a three-year starter and an All-Conference nominee his senior year. He went on to play college ball at Keystone College where he was a three-year letterman. Robb was formerly an assistant baseball coach at Tower Hill School and West Chester Rustin High School and has been with All-Star for 8 years.

Chelsea was a 3-year varsity player at Strath Haven High School and played 1st base, 3rd base, and outfield. She went on to play college softball at Arcadia University. Chelsea’s philosophy is to nurture the love for the game while improving technical skills. Her proudest softball memory was hitting a home run in her first collegiate at-bat.

Penncrest High School / Millersville University 

Dillon played his high school baseball at Penncrest High School. He went on to attend Millersville University where he and a few friends started a club baseball team. In the team’s first year affiliated with the National Club Baseball Association, the team won the 2019 Division 3 Club National Championship! Additionally, Dillon also served as the Athletic Chairman for his fraternity and organized his team’s schedules and practices.

Malvern Prep High School / Ursinus College

Vince played baseball for Broomall-Newtown Babe Ruth where he won the Babe Ruth World Series when he was 15 years old. He was a two year starting outfielder for Malvern Prep. Vince went on to lead his team in batting average his Junior year and tied for second on his team with 4 home runs his Senior year. At Malvern, Vince won an Inter-Ac title and a State Championship. Vince played one year of college ball at Ursinus where he batted .333.

Owen played at Devon Preparatory School and helped lead the team to two district championships during his high school career as a third baseman and pitcher. After his college years, Owen helped Whitemarsh Little League as a consultant that also specialized in individual instruction and coaching.

Eli played 4 years of Varsity baseball at Medway High School as a Starting Pitcher. During his Senior season, he led Medway to their first state title game in the school’s history, leading the league in ERA and IP. He was recognized on the Boston Globe All-Scholastic team as well as winning the league pitcher of the year award.

Devon played baseball every year from the ages of 6 to 19 in every position, except for catching. By the time Devon reached his junior year of high school, he concluded that his future in baseball would be in teaching, coaching, and sharing his knowledge to grow the future players of the game.

Conor has been playing baseball since he was three years old. He has been coaching baseball at Kutztown High School since the start of his sophomore year and was recently promoted to head coach at the middle school level. Conor works well with pitchers, catchers, and hitters on improving their skills and knowledge of the game.

Nate played varsity baseball at St. Josephs Prep for all 4 years of his high school career. After high school, Nate moved to North Carolina to do a post-grad year at Combine Academy. During his time at Combine, Nate decided to commit to Lackawanna and play Juco baseball.

Steven was a three-year varsity pitcher and was an honorable mention all-conference player as both a Junior and Senior. He then attended and graduated from Roanoke College where he played for 2 years. Additionally, Steve was a member of the 2017 Maroons Division III World Series team.

Abby played at Keystone College, starting as a shortstop all 4 years. By the time she graduated, Abby set school records for career home runs, season and game home runs, career hits, and career doubles! She was nationally ranked by the NCAA Division III Softball. Abby continued her education at Wesley College and earned a Master’s in Sports Leadership. While attending Wesley College, Abby was the assistant softball coach, focusing on outfielders and catchers.

Mack was a three-year varsity pitcher for Clearview Regional High School where he held the lowest ERA percentage. He was also a part of the SJ Group 4 Champions. After high school, Mack continued his baseball career at the University of the Sciences and was a starting pitcher. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Health Care Business and is now pursuing his Masters.

Mike attended Valley Forge Military Academy and was a Pitcher, First Baseman, and an Outfielder. Mike was a part of the 2017 All Academic Region 19 and was a 2018 Team Captain. During his baseball career, Mike had a 2.91 Era in 2018 4/4 saves. Mike then graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Media Studies from Temple University.

Mary Baldwin University

Alli was the starting first baseman at Mary Baldwin University for all four years. Alli maintained her spot in the lineup bringing power, consistency, and situational hitting to MBU. Apon graduating, Allie has been able to do research on behavior analytic principles and increasing hitters’ exit velocity. During this time, Alli joined the MBU softball staff, applying her graduate education to focus on hitting, fielding and strength training.

Pitman High School / Camden County College

Joanna was a three-year varsity catcher for Pitman High School. After high school, Joanna continued her softball career playing two years at Camden County College, where she ranked with NJCAA Division III for individual hitting, RBI and HR leaders, and was selected second and first team all-American with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Since college, Joanna has continued playing in various slow and fastpitch recreational leagues, as well as coaching at J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.

Holy Cross Academy / Cumberland Campus of Rowan College of South Jersey / Shepherd University

Steve Bowley was a three-year varsity player for Holy Cross Academy, where he helped lead the team to a 2016 state championship. After high school, Steve went on to play for Wagner college, before transferring to Rowan College of South Jersey where he became the #1 ranked player in the country. Steve Bowley lead Rowan College of South Jersey in innings before moving on to Shepherd University. After college, Steve played professional baseball in the frontier league for the Gateway Grizzlies.

Molly Larkin

Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls / Millersville University / West Chester University

Molly played at Little Flower High School, pitching and hitting all 4 years. The last two years of high school, Molly joined the Philadelphia Phillies sponsored RBI softball team. During her last year on the RBI softball team, Molly was awarded a scholarship from MLB baseball for college and used that money to start her education at Millersville University and eventually transferred to West Chester University. While she did not play in college, she joined the Phillies RBI as an assistant coach and specialized in hitting and pitching.

James Edwards

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s / Grambling State University / Marygrove College

James’s performance during his high school career earned him a scholarship to play at NCAA Division I Grambling State University. After a redshirt season, James then transferred to NCAA Division II Shaw University where he started at Centerfield for 3 years. James led the team each year in batting avg, hits, runs, and stolen bases. While earning the most valuable player award for the 2013-2014 shaw season, James also compiled to earn second-team all-conference and was a pre-season all-American for the following season. After his time at Grambling State, James finished his college career at Marygrove college where he made history by becoming the first player in The Western-Hoosier Athletic Conference to win player of the week and pitcher of the week in the same week.

Mike Gulli

St. Joseph’s Prep / Lebanon Valley College / Rutgers University

Mike was a 2 sport letterman in high school baseball, and track & field. At Lebanon Valley, he was a catcher on a team that reached the Division III regional tournament while also acting as the team’s unofficial pitching coach. After transferring to Rutgers, he walked on and made the team as a catcher, joining a squad that had made the regional tournament the season before. Mike hit over .300 for his collegiate career and played 17 years of semi-pro ball following college. During that time, he called 7 no-hitters from behind the plate and was voted into the all-star game in 2009 and 2010. He has been coaching young ballplayers since 2010, with several of his students currently playing college baseball.

Brandon Staub

Cinnaminson High School / Cumberland County College / Kutztown University

Brandon played at both Cumberland County College and Kutztown University. He was a relief pitcher for both schools during his 3 years as a college baseball player. His 2nd year at Cumberland County they were ranked as the #1 team in the country with Brandon as their captain. Although he was strictly a pitcher during his career, he has played with some of the best hitters and position players that the NJCAA (Junior College) has seen in the last two decades. The last year of his college career he attended Kutztown University competing in the PSAC, a very highly respected Division II conference that produces multiple Major League Baseball draft picks each and every year.

Daniel most recently patrolled Bucks County, PA as an umpire for the past few seasons, logging well over 100 games behind the plate. In Marks’ playing career, he was a 2 -time Connie Mack All-Star for his hometown Warrington A’s, as both a third baseman & pitcher. Dan graduated from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism & Hospitality Management in 2020 with a degree in Sports & Recreation Management.

Alex Hurowitz

Lower Merion High School / Penn State University

While at Lower Merion High School, Alex was a starting pitcher and third baseman, posting the lowest ERA in a single season since 2005 at 1.74. He was the pitcher of the year two years in a row at LMHS and was named to the 2nd Team All-Central League his senior year. Alex had many opportunities to play Division III baseball but decided on Penn State University where he joined the Club Baseball team and continued to pitch.

Chuck is a senior and team captain for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s baseball team. He primarily plays catcher, but he also plays infield and outfield. He is continuing his academic and baseball career at Haverford College.

Archbishop Wood Catholic High School / Mercer County Community College / University of Delaware

Erik began his college career at Mercer County Community College where he helped his team reach the NJCAA Division II World Series during both years of his attendance. After his time at MCCC, Erik had Erik went on to play at the University of Delaware, where he had 14 multi-hit games and was a key contributor in Delaware’s series win at UNCW, hitting .500 in the series with four RBIs and four runs. During his senior year, Erik started all 54 games with 51 hits, six doubles, four triples, and three home runs.

Amanda Clark

Saint Bail Academy / William Paterson University / Gwynedd Mercy University

Amanda played first baseman and catcher throughout her high school career. When she graduated, she had been an All-Academy All-Star 3 seasons in a row. She attended William Paterson University as a first baseman during her freshman year. She then transferred to Gwynedd Mercy University and was the starting catcher for her remaining 3 years of eligibility. As a catcher, Amanda was ranked #3 in the conference for “base runners caught stealing by”. The same year Amanda was ranked #4 in batting average by the NCAA Division III Softball league. Amanda led the conference and held school records (both single season and career) in batting average. slugging percentage and on-base percentage. After graduating college in 2020, Amanda focused on her career as a scientist and helped as a volunteer coach during Saint Basil Academy’s final softball season.

Justen played for the Henderson baseball team where he helped lead the school to their first District 1 PIAA Championship. Following his senior year, he went down to Old Dominion University in Norfolk VA where he walked on to the Men’s baseball team and became a bullpen catcher and traveled with the organization. Following his freshman year, he transferred back home to West Chester University where he is currently pursuing club baseball.

Lily played Division II softball at Chestnut Hill College where she started as a 3rd baseman all 4 years. During her junior year, Winn lead her team in hits and was named the Most Valuable Player. By her senior day, she had eclipsed over the 100 career hit mark as she was tied for 49th in the nation in batting averages. Lily now coaches in her free time with a focus on infielders and hitters.

A graduate of Neumann University, Alex was a four-time CSAC All-Academic Team honoree. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.

Kenny graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management. He was the 2019 MAC Freedom Player of the Year as well as the 2019 Misericordia Male Athlete of the Year. Kenny considers his greatest accomplishment in baseball being a 2019 D3 All American. His personal philosophy is, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”.

Chris graduated from Twin Valley High School in 2017 and is working towards a degree at Penn State University – Berks. Chris has 13 years of baseball experience, which includes 3 years of Legion baseball and 4 years of City County baseball. In lessons, Chris likes to go into as much detail as possible to ensure players have a better understanding and can identify mistakes and find solutions on their own. He also wants to make instruction fun for the players. If they are enjoying their lesson, they will be more willing to work harder and learn.

Bret played for Spring-Ford High School in 2015 and was a two-time All-Area selection, a two-time All-Pac-10 selection, and a 2015 Perfect Game Honorable Mention Atlantic All-America honoree. He went on to be named the America East Conference Rookie of the Year and was a member of the conference All-Rookie team as well as being selected second-team All-Conference. Bret recently began his first professional season with the West Virginia Power!

JJ played baseball at Downingtown West High School where he was a first-team all Ches-Mont and Daily Local News All area honorable mention his senior year. He went on to be a 4-year starter at Franklin and Marshall College where he was a captain his Junior and Senior years. JJ was the first player to ever win the Gold Glove award, as well as the Player of the Year for the Centennial Conference in the same year. A few other accolades include being selected for the Division 3 team of the week, 3-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor roll, and being voted most outstanding player by his coaches and teammates during his Sophomore and Senior years. JJ went on to continue playing baseball as a graduate student at the University of Delaware.

Cameron played at Downingtown East, starting at each of the outfield positions. In addition to playing at Downingtown East, Cam spent 3 years playing on All-Star Baseball’s Downingtown teams, as well as ASBA Futures for 5. Some of Cam’s greatest accomplishments include being selected for an All-Ches-Mont, and All-Area team his junior year of high school.

Tyler played at Spring-Ford High School and was a two-time All-PAC-10 selection. He continued his baseball career as a pitcher at East Stroudsburg University. By the time he graduated, Tyler set school records for saves and winning percentage in a single season. Tyler was named to NCBWA and D2CCA All-Atlantic Region 2nd team as a starting pitcher and a two-time All-PSAC 1st team honoree.

Ryan grew up playing travel softball, then went on to play four years of collegiate softball at Cabrini College. During her college years, Ryan gained experience in every position in nearly every infield position. Ryan received All-Conference Honorable Mention Accolades two different seasons, as well as Conference All-Academic Team honors all four years. After receiving a Senior Scholar Athlete award and graduating Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts, Ryan now works in Graphic Design & Marketing – and still makes time for some recreational softball.

After playing locally at Council Rock South, Jeff went on to play at Wesley College. He is in his 6th year with All-Star and is available for hitting and pitching lessons.

Eric Ruth

Pitching

North Penn High School / Winthrop University / New York Yankees

Eric was a graduate of North Penn High School and a member of the 2009 PIAA State Championship team. He then went on to spend four years at Winthrop University. Following his senior year, he signed as a free agent with the New York Yankees in 2013. In 2015 he earned a spot on the Eastern League AA All-Star team. During his five seasons in the organization, he was able to make it to AAA.

Kelvin Ortiz

Bristol High School / Neumann University 

Kelvin attended Neumann University where he was a varsity starter for four years. His main position was catcher, and also played third base and shortstop. He also played in the Carpenter Cup. After college, Kelvin worked with the Pittsburgh Pirates and assisted players in training.

Gettysburg College

Matt played at Gettysburg College. He started all four years of his collegiate career as a catcher and third baseman and was team captain during his senior year. His goal at All-Star is to help kids develop in all aspects of life while playing the game that they love.

Cody attended SUNY Purchase college where he was a starting pitcher all four years. In his sophomore season at Purchase, he led the Skyline Conference in Innings Pitched and led the team in Strikeouts.

Samuel Vilk

Mentor High School / Seton Hill University

Sam played at Seton Hill University for the nationally ranked Griffins baseball team, winning over 150 games and 2 PSAC Championships during his career there, as well as making appearances in 4 straight NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournaments. Sam continued his education after his time at SHU, by moving out to Philadelphia and pursuing his Master’s degree in Secondary Education, as well as obtaining his teaching certificate to teach History, which he now does at MaST Community Charter School in Philadelphia, PA.

Dylan Evert

Bristol Jr./Sr. High School / University of Maryland – Baltimore County / East Stroudsburg University

During his years of high school baseball, Dylan was a utility player that had a fire and passion for the game. Dylan was then recruited as a catcher and 3rd baseman to UMBC right out of high school. After some time at UMBC, Dylan transferred to ESU for his Junior year, where he remained to play the rest of his collegiate career. Dylan has extensive knowledge of the game and wants to share his experience with the next generation of ballplayers!

Jessica Spivey

Jessica played for the University of New Haven, starting as a first baseman for 3 years. By the time she graduated, she ranked seventh all-time with 31 doubles, seventh all-time with 14 home runs, and third all-time with 1,012 putouts.

Ryan Decembrino

Pennridge High School / Penn State Lehigh Valley

In high school, Ryan played all four years as a second baseman and outfielder. Ryan “Speedster” Decembrino lead his team each year in steals and was always a pivotal member of the team at the plate.

Miles Minnick

Souderton Area High School / Arcadia University

Miles played baseball at Souderton all 4 years of high school. During his freshman year at Souderton, he threw a no-hitter against Upper Dublin. Miles continued his baseball and academic career to play DIII baseball at Arcadia University. At Arcadia, Miles won the MAC Championship in 2018 to win back-to-back titles.

Brendan played for several travel teams in high school including All-Star Baseball Academy as a power hitting 1st baseman, 3rd baseman and pitcher. Brendan is super excited to use his knowledge of baseball to help guide the next generation of players.

Josh attended Central Bucks High School where he was a varsity player for two years. He is currently in his first year at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where he plays division II baseball.

Jake Arnoldy

Wilmington Christian School / Cairn University

Jake played High School Varsity baseball all 4 years at Wilmington Christian School. During his senior year as an outfielder and pitcher, he led his team in hits, batting average, and ERA. Jake then committed to Cairn University where he has spent the last 3 years of his career as an outfielder. As a junior at Cairn, Jake started 30 of 41 games and helped Cairn achieve a 25 win season, which was a new school win record for the school. Jake also helped Cairn go on a 13 game winning streak, one of the longest streaks in D3 baseball this past year.

Zach Lutz

Alvernia University / New York Mets

Zach was a three-time First Team All-American and was once named the D3 Baseball National Player of the Year when attending Alvernia University. In 2007, Zach was drafted in the 5th round of the 2007 MLB Draft by the New York Mets. He played for 10 years professionally and made his MLB debut in April of 2012 with the New York Mets. Zach received many awards throughout his career, including the Mets MiLB Player of the Year. He also played professionally in Japan and Korea, and Winter Ball in the Dominican Republic.

John Catchmark

Governor Mifflin High School / Alvernia University

John played baseball at Governor Mifflin High School and set the record for 2nd all-time career hits. He went on play at Alvernia University where John was a 2-time All American, 2-time Mid-Atlantic selection, and MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year in 2017. John continues to have aspirations to play professional baseball and loves teaching hitting, fielding, and pitching lessons at All-Star!

Nick Ward

Unionville High School/Oakland Athletics

Nick is an ASBA alumnus who played high school ball at Unionville High School. During his playing career, he has been an NCBWA Honorable Mention All-American,  CCA Honorable Mention All-American, First Team All-PSAC, NCBWA First Team All-Atlantic Region, D2CCA All-Atlantic First Team, and Atlantic-ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team (First Team). He led the team and the PSAC with 69 runs scored and 1.44 runs per game (No. 3 nationally) and also played and started in all 48 games. Nick batted .364 with 59 hits, 11 doubles, and a team-high four triples and 13 homers.

Nick was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB 1st Year Player Draft and played in the Arizona Rookie League A and with the AAA Nashville Sounds.

Dante Surace

Abington Heights High School / East Stroudsburg University / Misericordia University

Dante played baseball at Abington Heights High School where he was a pitcher, 1st baseman, and outfielder. In his junior year, he led his team with the best ERA. Dante went on to attend East Stroudsburg University for Sports Management and was heavily involved in club sports. After ESU, he continued his education, receiving his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Misericordia University, with a Sports Industry focus. Upon graduating, he worked for Pro Baseball Staff and ran many clinics and 1:1 sessions. Dante additionally ran clinics for the Scranton-Wilkes Barre RailRiders and Baltimore Orioles.

Rita Muzio

Ridgewood High School / University of Delaware

Rita was a leading hitter and starting outfielder for her high school team in Norther NJ. In two years, the team won 40+ games, two league titles, and a State Sectional Championship. Rita traveled with the Bergen Blazers every summer, once to US Pony Nationals, where they twice defeated the Russian National Champions, and finished in the Sweet 16 of 120 teams. While there, Rita batted over 400 and led the team in stolen bases. Through college, Rita coached summer travel teams to Championships of their own on the home turf of her Ridgewood alma mater.

Mason played high school baseball at Malvern Prep, then continued his career at Elizabethtown College as a proud NCAA Division III alumnus. Mason continues to help young athletes develop passion for the sport of baseball, and continues to grow as a mentor and teacher every day.

Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School / Alvernia University

Hunter attended Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School, where he was on the varsity baseball team for 2 years as a pitcher and outfielder. Hunter also played travel ball with the Maryland Legends where in his 4 years playing with the team held under a 2.00 ERA. After high school, Hunter went on to attend Alvernia University where he was a pitcher during his freshman year.

Andre played outfield and catcher throughout high school at St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia and went on to play Division III baseball at Widener University. He has 20 years experience of coaching teams in Little League and Babe Ruth Leagues and has previously served as League Director, Safety Director, and Communications Director of Exton Little League. He also has 10 years of experience as an umpire for PIAA High School and American Legion baseball leagues.

Malvern Prep / Drexel University

John was a Pitcher and 1st baseman for all 4 years at Drexel University. By the end of his sophomore year at Drexel, John was named as one of the two captains on the team. After John’s junior year, he led the entire NCBA in innings pitched. Over his four years pitching at Drexel, he won the NCBA National Pitcher of the week 4 times. After Graduation in 2016, John helped with coaching the pitching staff at Drexel for 2 seasons.

Nicole LoFurno

Garnet Valley high school / Pennsylvania College of Technology

Nicole played at Garnet Valley HS as a pitcher, outfielder, and 2nd baseman. During her high school career, Nicole helped her varsity softball team to win three conference champs in a row. After graduating high school Nicole attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology. For all four years of  her college career, Nicole was the captain of her team. During her senior year, Nicole was named Athlete of the Year. Nicole also lead the conference in stolen bases her first two years of play. In 2013 Nicole and her Penn College team would go on to win the Championship in the PSUAC conference.

Aidan was a 4-year varsity player at a flight A school in Delaware. He played primarily as a shortstop but in his tenure at Delcastle Technical he was accessible at any position in the infield or outfield.

Exeter Township High School / Northampton Community College / Albright College

Jake played baseball at Exeter High School where he was an all-division and all-county selection. He went on to play at Northampton Community College where he was part of their first NJCAA Region 19 title and went on to play in the NJCAA world series. He then moved on to Albright College where he was part of their team for the next three years and graduated with a degree in Business Management.
